Women in Film and Television Vancouver is pleased to welcome Grace Chin as the new Interim Managing Director. Grace has more than twenty years of experience working within the Vancouver arts and non-profit sector. Grace replaces WIFTV Executive Director Carolyn Combs who has left the organization after eight years of incredible service.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors I want to thank Carolyn for her heartfelt dedication to WIFTV and extend our gratitude for her impressively long list of contributions to this organization. We wish her all the best and will be excited to hear about her new endeavours. In this time of transition both within the organization and the broader culture, our challenge to lead will be helmed by the formidable talents of Grace Chin. Grace was with the Vancouver Asian Film Festival for nine years, first producing their filmmaking competition and then as Festival Director. She is the General Manager of Ruby Slippers Theatre and is currently on the Board of the Vancouver Short Film Festival.
